and now the channel is back after 12 hours downtime. Still no information from Youtube about why it was down. Maybe some internet noise?

Actually, we also rely on Google for FeedBurner subscriptions and some of our writers use Google Docs. Not that I want to scare you or anything… .

(And I’m still convinced it’s some kind of bug/broken issue on YouTube’s side.)

if you call Google on their main US line +1 650-253-0000 and eventually find an operator, they tell you that there is no person to talk to about Youtube…only place to go is on the web using their forms. Seems pretty unfriendly/unhelpful.
